Congressman Jake Ellzey is hosting a Meet & Greet in Mansfield on April 21. Mansfield remains in Congressional House District TX-06 after redistricting took effect in January 2023. The district now represents a population base spread across nine counties – Ellis County, Navarro County, Cherokee County, Anderson County, Hill County, portions of Dallas, Tarrant, Johnson, and Freestone County.
“I am greatly looking forward to catching up with the folks in Mansfield. It is a true honor to represent them in the 118th Congress, and I want to continue learning more about their aspirations, needs, and interests as I meet with city leaders, business owners, farmers and residents.”
Congressman Ellzey will give a brief update on the happenings in Washington, DC, and a brief overview of constituent services available in the district. This includes help navigating over 400 federal agencies including VA, Social Security, and IRS in addition to information on grants, student activities, congressional recognitions and more.
The Coffee with your Congressman will be held at Overflow Coffee from 9-10:30 a.m. April 21 at the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce, 114 N. Main St.
