Forbes Magazine named Mansfield ISD to its list of America’s Best-in-State Employers 2022. For the state of Texas, MISD was in the top 100 for a third time since 2019. Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to pinpoint the organizations liked best by employees in their ranking of America’s best employers by state.
“I’m so proud that Mansfield ISD was selected as one of the best places to work in Texas,” said Superintendent Kimberley Cantu. “We work hard in our district to build a culture that is supportive of our employees. The fact that they and others in the education field selected us from the thousands of other choices demonstrates that Mansfield ISD really is a great place to live, learn and teach.”
This recognition was created through a survey of 70,000 U.S. employees across 25 industry sectors. Recommendations were collected directly from district employees as well workers across the education industry. The survey considered every aspect of an employee’s experience such as working conditions, salary, potential for growth and diversity. Of the thousands of companies eligible for this recognition, only a select few are awarded in each state.
Mansfield, Texas, is a booming city, nestled between Fort Worth and Dallas, but with a personality all its own. The city’s 76,247 citizens enjoy an award-winning school district, vibrant economy, historic downtown, prize-winning park system and community focus spread across 37 square miles. The Mansfield Record is dedicated to reporting city and school news, community happenings, police and fire news, business, food and restaurants, parks and recreation, library, historical archives and special events. The city’s only online newspaper launched in September 2020 and will offer introductory advertising rates for the first three months at three different rates.
