Mansfield Reads! wound up a month of festivities with the Evening with the Author at Legacy High School on Thursday.
Best-selling author Peter Heller discussed his novel "The Guide" with Library Advisory Board President and Friends of the Mansfield Public Library member Bobby Quinten and more than 100 attendees.
Mansfield Mayor Michael Evans presented Heller with the key to the city while praising the work of the Friends of the Library, which produced the 19th annual Mansfield Reads! The annual event celebrates reading, writing and literacy by asking the community to read the same book.
