Mansfield roars past Legacy, 37-16

Mansfield earned a homecoming win over Legacy, 37-16, Friday night at Newsom Stadium.

Mansfield crowned its 2022 Homecoming King and Queen, Aidan Washington and Erica Brelove, at the game.

The Tigers (4-0 overall, 1-0 district) will meet Lake Ridge at Newsom Stadium on Friday night.

Legacy (2-2, 0-1) will host Dallas Skyline at R.L. Anderson Stadium on Friday.

In other Mansfield ISD action, Timberview continued its undefeated streak, crushing Carrolton Turner 63-6. The Wolves (4-0, 1-0) will host Newman Smith at Newsom Stadium on Thursday night for homecoming.

Duncanville ran past Lake Ridge 44-6 on Friday. The Eagles (1-3, 0-1) will tackle Mansfield on Friday at Newsom Stadium.
