Obituaries: Diane Reid Harris

On May 27, 2023, Diane Reid Harris, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 73.

Janice Diane Reid was born on Nov. 10, 1949, to Dorothy Blanchard Reid and Fred H. Reid in Sherman, Texas. She was the second of three precious daughters.

Diane graduated from Kennedale High School, and was the historian of her high school class. She married, and had one daughter, Stephanie (Burris) Tomlin.

Diane dedicated herself to helping others, working in the Title Industry in Fort Worth and Arlington for more than 30 years.

Diane had several passions in her life including gardening, spending time with family and friends, and going with her sister Carolyn to listen to live music. Diane had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making others smile. She was known for her unique kindness, always taking time to talk with people and encourage them in the Lord. Her greatest passion was Jesus and now she sees fully!

Diane was preceded in death by her father, Fred, and mother, Dorothy, sister, Bonnie, and niece Tammy. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie, son-in-law, Chad, sister Carolyn, and brother-in-law Roger. She also has four grandchildren, Reid and wife Katie, Layne, Trace and Shelby, and great-granddaughter Laurel. She has been so blessed with a host of nieces & nephews whom she loves dearly.
