Jo Ann Harris, 88, of Mansfield went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 7, 2022. She was born in Britton, Texas, on March 2, 1934, to Cecil William and Maude Eva (Turner) Brown. On June 17, 1950, she married the love of her life Edward L. Harris in Mansfield, Texas. Jo Ann was a member of First Baptist Church in Lillian. She was a member of and sat on many local boards such as the Mansfield Cemetery Association, the Mansfield Historical Society, the Business and Professional Women's Foundation and the Mansfield Volunteer Fire Department's Women's Auxiliary. She worked for many years as an Administrative Secretary for Deluxe Check Printing. Jo Ann enjoyed reading, ceramics, quilting, crocheting and traveling. She was always ready for a road trip but especially loved traveling to Hawaii.
She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Edward L. Harris; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Cindy Harris and nine siblings.
Jo Ann leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Carla Roberson and husband Berry; grandchildren, Wendy Brown and husband Justin, Shari Bankston and husband Billy, Jeremy Baker, Ashely Gaither and husband Grant, Carissa Williams and husband Jake, Derek Roberson and wife Trish, and Brett Roberson and wife Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Jaycee, Cole, Tanner, Brody, Gracee, Kylee, Savannah, Austin, Garrett, Rebecca, Evelyn, Lola and Allie; sisters, Barbara Walston and Carron Hailey and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
