Texas Health Resources ranked No. 66 on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For list and is one of only three health systems to be recognized.

This is the ninth consecutive year Texas Health has been recognized as one of the Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For.

“The commitment and compassion of our employees make Texas Health one of the best companies to work for in the United States,” said Barclay Berdan, FACHE, Texas Health’s chief executive officer. “We are a group of diverse people working together to improve the health of the people in the communities we serve.”

Fortune partners with Great Place to Work to conduct the most extensive employee survey in corporate America to identify the top 100. The ranking is based on feedback from more than half a million employees nationwide on issues including how trustworthy, caring and fair the company is in times of crisis; employees’ physical, emotional and financial health; and the company’s broader community impact. The full list will be featured in Fortune’s April/May issue, which hits newsstands beginning April 25.

Texas Health has prioritized caring for its employees just as much as it does its patients, Berdan said.

“We have developed a culture where team members feel comfortable belonging and can do their life’s best work,” Berdan said. “We offer comprehensive benefits, professional growth opportunities, a robust set of health and wellness resources, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives – all designed to help employees flourish.”
