Timberview continued its undefeated streak through the second round of UIL playoffs, downing Barbers Hill, 35-17, on Friday night in Cedar Park.
Senior Jarvis Reed, after sitting out the previous week with an injury, returned to pace the Wolves’ offense with almost 200 yards and two touchdowns. Javeon Madison also posted a pair of touchdowns and almost 100 yards for Timberview.
Timberview led 17-14 at halftime. Barbers Hill took a 21-17 lead in the third quarter before the Wolves scored three fourth-quarter touchdowns to seal the win.
The Wolves (12-0) will next face Frisco Reedy (12-0) at Pennington Field in Bedford at 3 p.m. Friday.
