Crowley hands Mansfield first loss of the season, 35-23

Mansfield’s perfect record got its first notch Thursday night when the Tigers fell 35-23 to Crowley at Vernon Newsom Stadium.

The Tigers (6-1, 2-1 3-6A) trailed the entire game to Crowley (4-3, 3-0 3-6A).

Tonight, Timberview (3-3, 2-2 3-5A DII) and Summit (3-2, 3-0 3-5A DII)  clash at 7 p.m. at Vernon Newsom Stadium, while Legacy (1-5, 1-1 6-3A)  travels to face Fort Worth Boswell at 7 p.m. and Lake Ridge (1-4, 0-1 6-3A) meets No. 3-ranked North Crowley at 7 p.m. at North Crowley ISD Stadium.
