Hundreds chowed down at the annual Taste of Mansfield on Thursday evening – all in the name of charity.
The fund-raiser drew an estimated 1,000 people to taste samplings of food from more than two dozen local restaurants, chefs and caterers, raising funds for the Mansfield Mission Center. The non-profit organization provides food, medical care and other assistance to people in need in the community.
Diners enjoyed steak, Asian food, lamb chops, Tex-Mex, seafood, Italian food and desserts, while bidding on items in the silent auction at The Grand View, 2201 Heritage Parkway.
