Prairie Lights opens Thanksgiving and runs nightly through New Year's Eve from 6-10 p.m. at Lynn Creek Marina at Joe Pool Lake, 5610 Lake Ridge in Grand Prairie. Admission is $50 per vehicle.
The iconic North Texas holiday destination features millions of lights arranged in festive scenes along a stunning two-mile drive, as well as the Holiday Village out-of-car experience. Popular Prairie Lights attractions include the animated tunnel, which has been re-imagined into a more immersive experience this year, and an enchanting strollable lighted forest, which will also feature a new look in 2024. Other updated Prairie Lights event elements include new themed displays along the route and new light installations viewable from the admission line.
Prairie Lights visitors are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets in advance, arrive early and consider visiting on a weeknight or non-holiday night. Guests must be in line before 10 p.m. or before the park reaches capacity for the evening, whichever comes first. Tickets, directions, and additional information about Prairie Lights are available at prairielights.org
