Republican Speaker Nominee, Rep. David Cook, announced the launch of a webpage aimed at proactively gathering input, ideas and talent to prepare for a smooth transition, should he receive the necessary votes to serve as Speaker of the Texas House on Jan. 14, 2025.

“Our team is working to make the most of the time before this critical vote,” said Rep. Cook. “We’re focused on ensuring that, if given the opportunity to serve, the Texas House will be ready to deliver thoughtful solutions and effective leadership for all Texans.”

The webpage allows individuals interested in serving as part of a potential Speaker’s administration to submit resumes, provides a space for policy ideas, and offers a portal for media inquiries. This webpage aims to build upon the critical work conducted by members in the ongoing work group sessions.
