Epic Waters plans Spring Break festivities

Texas and out-of-state visitors are invited to splash into waves of Spring Break fun at Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark, where hands-on activities, mesmerizing circus acts, creative crafts and interactive games promise epic fun happening March 7-23. Special spring break activities and programming include:

Live entertainment: Watch aerialists, magicians and hula hoop artists perform shows at 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily.

Creative activities: Check out Waddles Workshop (Thursday-Monday) for coloring and crafts, including glitter tattoos, slime, Picasso art, shrink art and tie-dying.

Epic games and challenges: Dance it out at the Spring Break Dance Party, test skills in the Arcade Challenge and join high-energy games like Musical Dots, Ring of Fire, Heads & Tails and the Bucket Relay.

Mystical Mermaids: An extra splash of magic awaits waterpark visitors in the form of special mermaid appearances happening throughout Spring Break.

Located at EpicCentral in Grand Prairie, Epic Waters offers year-round family splash fun under a retractable roof. The park features 12 thrilling waterslides, such as the E-Racer, an exhilarating side-by-side racing slide; and the Locura, a high-intensity looping slide. Other notable Epic Waters attractions and amenities include a 4,000-square-foot arcade, an interactive children's play area, private cabanas the Hungry Wave Cafe, the longest indoor lazy river in North Texas, and the FlowRider® surfing simulator.

Epic Waters was recently named the No. 2 indoor waterpark in the nation by Newsweek's Readers' Choice Awards. Additional consumer accolades include recognition as “10 Best” top waterpark in the nation by USA Today “Reader’s Choice Awards” in 2023 and 2024.

Although a hotel reservation is not required to enjoy the full range of fun at Epic Waters, guests have the option to elevate and extend their waterpark adventure by taking advantage of lodging and destinations within easy walking distance in the surrounding EpicCentral campus, including two Hilton properties, Chicken N Pickle, Bolder Adventure Park and PlayGrand Adventures, an all-inclusive playground. EpicCentral dining options from casual bites to upscale cuisine are plentiful, with standout destinations like Vidorra Mexican Kitchen, The Finch and Serious Eats just minutes away from the waterpark.
