Vanessa Villa has been named the Director of Marketing and Business Development for ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Mansfield and its satellite facility, ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Waxahachie. Both 30-bed medical rehabilitation hospitals serve patients with disabling injuries or illnesses such as strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis or other medically-complex conditions.

A registered nurse, Villa brings more than 15 years of healthcare experience to her role, previously serving as a regional chief marketing officer for a long-term acute care hospital system. In this capacity, she managed admission teams, enhanced physician engagement and implemented strategic sales initiatives to drive growth. She also has served as a clinical rehabilitation nursing liaison, clinical liaison and business development manager in various rehabilitation and healthcare settings throughout Texas.

Villa will lead ClearSky Mansfield’s and ClearSky Waxahachie’s admissions departments and coordinate marketing efforts to educate patients, families and the community about the hospital's services.

“My clinical knowledge is beneficial in helping me educate referral sources, patients and the community about the advantages of specialized rehabilitative care,” Villa says. “It’s important for patients and families to understand the various levels of rehabilitation so they can choose the best care options available to them.”

Villa earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and a master’s degree in business administration from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
