Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens today at 500 N. US 287 Frontage. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“Our newest location is conveniently located off Highway 287, where Freddy’s will become an easily accessible dining option for both travelers and guests looking for a place to eat after shopping with our retail neighbors,” said John DePinto, franchise owner. “Our commitment to high-quality, cooked-to-order food and genuine hospitality will make this restaurant a destination for families and friends who want to enjoy fresh, hot meals and classic dessert treats in a comfortable atmosphere.”

The 2,800-square-foot freestanding restaurant seats 74 guests, has additional seating on the patio and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“Our restaurant presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area is steadily increasing and we look forward to continuing our growth over the next few years,” said Nick DePinto, franchise owner. “Our focus will always remain on quality food and friendly service.
