Former Mansfield Lake Ridge offensive lineman Caleb Rogers was selected by the Las Vegas Raiders with the 98th overall pick in Round 3 of the 2025 NFL draft.
Rogers is believed to have set the Texas Tech record for most career starts by an offensive lineman, according to the school. He played in 61 games for the Red Raiders with 55 starts, and those 55 starts were all consecutive, starting at the end of his 2020 true freshman season through his final year at Texas Tech in 2024.
Rogers (6-5, 310) was a two-time honorable mention All-Big 12 selection (2023 and 2024), and as a super senior he helped Texas Tech average 37.6 points during an 8-5 season in 2024. With Rogers anchoring the offensive line, Texas Tech made four consecutive bowl appearances for the first time since a stretch from 2000 to 2010.
Rogers was selected to take part in the Reese’s Senior Bowl following the 2024 season and was among four Red Raiders to receive an invite to the NFL Scouting Combine.
He was a three-star recruit at Lake Ridge and was rated the 90th-best offensive tackle in the nation in the Class of 2020, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
