Ten men were caught in a multi-agency sting operation for soliciting prostitutes in Mansfield.
The 10 were arrested from July 16-18 for soliciting a prostitute under age 18, according to police records.
Multiple police agencies comb social media sites, pretending to be young adults, explained Officer Cecily Santana of the Mansfield Police Department. The officers do not offer sexual favors, but if they are propositioned, they are caught.
“We are doing them all time, all of the agencies in the Metroplex,” Santana explained. “We get into chat rooms and do our thing. It was planned and scheduled.”
For the 10 men, a young person wasn’t waiting for them, but a police officer. There was no minor involved, Santana said.
“If you are offering the service, that’s against the law too,” she said. “This was all online.”
The men arrested were Massoud Modabber, Anthony Eric King, Daniel Ulises Ramirez, Torris Terrell Henderson, Mutaz Faisal Hussein, Evan Andrew Ligon, Daniel Jordan Rivera, Chris Michael Reilly, Don Allen Golden and Kyle Lee Garrett Gilday.
