The Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA is proud to announce it has received a grant from the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation to support programs that strengthen families, expand youth opportunities and build a healthier, more connected community.

Funding from the Arlington Tomorrow Foundation will help the YMCA continue delivering vital services to local children and families, including programs focused on youth development, health and wellness and community engagement.

“The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation has been an incredible partner in helping us create opportunities for all,” said Heidi Hardy, Chief Mission Advancement Officer for the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA. “Their investment allows us to expand programs that ensure every child has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive, regardless of their financial circumstances.”

Through this support, the YMCA will expand programming at the Trinity Community Foundation Youth Program Center, a space dedicated to serving youth and families in our community. The grant will help increase access to structured youth development programs including afterschool enrichment, leadership development, academic support and safe recreational activities. By expanding programs at the Youth Program Center, the YMCA will provide more opportunities for young people to build confidence, develop healthy habits and connect with positive mentors in a safe and supportive environment.

The Arlington Tomorrow Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the Arlington community by investing in organizations that improve quality of life and create long-term impact. Their partnership with the YMCA reflects a shared commitment to building a stronger future for local families.

“Community partnerships like this make a lasting difference,” Hardy added. “Together we are creating a world of opportunity for the children and families we serve.”

The Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA serves thousands of individuals each year through programs that promote healthy living, youth development and social responsibility. Through scholarships and community outreach initiatives, the YMCA ensures that programs remain accessible to those who need them most.
