Mansfield ISD students are getting ready to go back to school for the 2024-2025 school year Aug. 14.
And back to school means back on the court and back on the field for a lot of young athletes.
Varsity volleyball tips off Sept. 13 for Mansfield, Legacy, Summit and Timberview, while Lake Ridge takes to the court Sept. 17.
Tickets for the varsity volleyball games are $5 for adults and $3 for students in kindergarten-12th grade. Younger children are free.
Varsity football kicks off Aug. 29 for Timberview when the Wolves tackle Dallas Kimball at Vernon Newsom Stadium. Mansfield, Legacy, Summit and Lake Ridge hit the field Aug. 30.
Tickets for Mansfield, Legacy and Lake Ridge varsity games will be $7 for adults and $5 for students in kindergarten-12th grade. Timberview and Summit varsity games will be $6 for adults and $3 for students.
Season passes will not be sold this year.
Summit will take on Burleson on Sept. 20 for the Jaguars’ homecoming game. Timberview will host Everman on Sept. 27 for homecoming, and Legacy will tackle Weatherford on Oct. 4 for the Broncos’ homecoming.
Lake Ridge hosts Legacy on Nov. 1 for the Eagles’ homecoming, and Mansfield will take on Weatherford on Nov. 8 for the Tigers’ homecoming game.
All Mansfield ISD homecoming games will be played at Vernon Newsom Stadium.
