North Texas SC (7-8-6, 29 points) fell 3-0 to Portland Timbers2 (13-4-6, 48 points) on Saturday night at Texas Health Mansfield Stadium.
FC Dallas Homegrown forward Jaidyn Contreras made his return to North Texas SC in the 61st minute of the match. Contreras spent the last month with the U.S. Youth National Team in the Concacaf U-20 Championship, earning the silver medal and qualifying to the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. He was named to the Concacaf U-20 Best XI with three assists in the tournament.
