The Summit Jaguars got by crosstown rival Legacy on Thursday night, 24-19, to bring home a win on homecoming night at Vernon Newsom Stadium.
The Jaguars (2-3) held a 7-6 lead at the half over the Broncos (1-4) before stretching their lead in the last half.
Summit crowned Dea Fakhrulddin and Dat Nguyen as homecoming queen and king at halftime.
On Friday night, Lake Ridge will host Mansfield at 7 p.m. at Vernon Newsom Stadium, while Timberview will travel to meet Midlothian Heritage at 7 p.m.
