Free live music returns to downtown Arlington over Labor Day weekend as the Levitt Pavilion launches its fall series Sept. 4-6 with Blue Water Highway, Shelby Stone and Del Castillo. The season continues through late October with country, Tejano, jazz, Americana and the Do Good Fest featuring Barenaked Ladies and Lisa Loeb, plus tribute nights celebrating ABBA, Prince, Bob Seger and Van Halen.
Fall highlights include:
Sept. 11 – Stars, Stripes & Remembrance: A 9/11 anniversary tribute featuring country artist Coffey Anderson.
Sept. 12 – Faith On Fire: Praise and worship night headlined by contemporary Christian hitmaker Matthew West.
Oct. 3 – Fifth Annual Hispanic Heritage Celebration: Mike Gonzalez and the Iconiczz headline an evening of live music, a group salsa lesson and a bustling street market with more than 70 vendors.
Oct. 24 – Do Good Fest Texas: National Life Group presents a $20 ticketed charity concert featuring multi-platinum rock favorites Barenaked Ladies and Grammy winner Lisa Loeb. Proceeds benefit Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Ready to Learn program.
Other fall performers include Jay Pérez, Gary P. Nunn, Los Texmaniacs, Blue Tongue and The Buffalo Ruckus.
Except for Do Good Fest, Levitt concerts are free. Food trucks are available each concert night, with vendor markets on select dates. Guests can bring lawn chairs or blankets and take in an evening of live music in the heart of downtown Arlington. Early arrival is suggested for nights with higher profile artists. The Levitt is at 100 W. Abram St., across from Arlington City Hall.
